Brownstone Wedding Chapel: Where the important events of your life become beautiful lifetime memories.
We are located just 20 minutes west of Loop 820 in Fort Worth, with easy interstate access. We are in the heart of historic downtown Weatherford.
When you enter the 1894 stone structure and go in the auditorium, you will find elaborate stained glass windows, wooden pews to seat 150 people with elaborate floral pew markers, and a dramatic bridal staircase. Looking up, you will see an ornate, original tin ceiling and antique hanging chandeliers. Windows, set deeply in the stone walls, are decorated with wrought-iron candelabra. The altar is in front of a massively large stained glass window. Large silk floral arrangements on tall pedestals, as well as standing wrought-iron candelabra decorate this area.
Going upstairs, you will find the roomy, exquisite, and secluded bridal dressing room. With it's antique furniture, good lighting, and private restroom, the bride and her attendants will enjoy every minute getting ready for the big day in their own space. When it is time for the wedding to start, the bride steps out of the dressing room onto the platform, and makes her grand entrance walking down the bridal staircase.
On the ground floor, the groom will enjoy his dressing room with its comfortable, masculine decor, and a private restroom. The groom and his attendants will be just steps from the auditorium or the serene outside garden seating area.
When the wedding is over, guests and family can move to the elegant on-site reception hall. An elegant facility on the premises, but with a separate entrance, the hall has been the site of many fun celebrations for the newlywed couple and all who are in attendance at their wedding.
